If you watch much TV you would catch the occasional comedy that showcased a hair brained scheme of getting rich or starting a business. On the "George Lopez show", George's wife started her own catering company in the garage. In "Yes, Dear", on of the characters donned a wet suit and went diving for golf balls.
Both of those examples are not bad ideas. I know of 3 women that have gotten together and started their own catering company. One does the decorations, another makes wonderful wedding cakes (she supplied mine) and the third specialized in hand calligraphy (almost a lost art) for personalized invitations.
There was a company the was featured on "Dirty Jobs" that collects golf balls and resells them to driving ranges so the golf ball idea is not so hair brained as it might seem.
